  • 300 psi (20,7 bar) Rated Standard Response Sprinklers

Reliable Models F1-300 Upright, Pendent and Recessed Pendent Sprinklers are high pressure rated automatic sprinklers which can handle a maximum service pressure of 300 psi (20,7 bar). The Model F1-300 glass bulb sprinkler combines durability with the attractive low profile of a decorative sprinkler. Whether installed on exposed piping or below an office ceiling, it is functional and attractive. The Model F1 Recessed Escutcheon provides convenient adjustment for Model F1-300 Sprinklers. The two-piece construction makes field installation an easy and rapid task. This also allows ceiling panels to later be removed without shutting down the fire protection system, thus facilitating maintenance of above ceiling services. The Models F1-300 Upright, Pendent and Recessed Pendent automatic sprinklers are standard response sprinklers which utilize a 5.0mm frangible glass bulb. The glass bulb contains an accurately controlled amount of special fluid hermetically sealed inside. The other sprinkler parts are made of brass, copper or beryllium nickel. At normal temperatures, the glass bulb contains fluid in both the liquid and vapor phases. The vapor phase can be seen as a small bubble. As heat is applied, the liquid expands, forcing the bubble smaller and smaller as the liquid pressure increases. Continued heating forces the liquid to push out against the bulb, causing the glass to shatter, opening the waterway and allowing the deflector to distribute the discharging water.

  • Automatic Sprinklers Spray Upright, Spray Pendent And Conventional

The Reliable Model G Automatic Sprinkler utilizes the center strut solder in compression principle of construction. The fusible alloy is captured in the cylinder of the solder capsule by a stainless steel ball. When the fusible alloy melts, the ball moves into the cylinder allowing the cylinder to fall away from the sprinkler. When this happens, the lever is released to spring free from the sprinkler so that all of the operating parts clear from the waterway allowing the deflector to distribute the discharging water. Except for the parts in the cylinder as mentioned above, the sprinkler components are made from copper based alloys for maximum corrosion protection. Lead plated, wax coated or wax over lead plated sprinklers are available for specially severe environments. Chrome plated sprinklers are available for decorative purposes. All sprinklers are individually hydrostatically tested. All sprinklers are identified as to their fusing point by markings that appear on several of the operating parts and by an identifying color that appears on the frame.

  • Sidewall Sprinklers

All Reliable Model G Automatic Sidewall Sprinklers utilize the center strut in compression principle of construction. The fusible alloy, retained in the cylinder of a small solder capsule by a stainless steel ball, acts as the trigger of the sprinkler. When the fusible alloy melts, the sprinklers operating parts spring free from the sprinkler, clearing the water way and allowing the sprinkler to distribute the discharging water.

  • Automatic Sprinkler

The Reliable Model G4 Concealer™ standard response uses the proven Model G fusible element in a standard style sprinkler frame with a drop-down deflector. This assembly is recessed into the ceiling and concealed by a flat cover plate. This threaded engagement provides ˝” (13mm) of cover adjustment. The flat cover plate is attached to the skirt using an ordinary temperature classification solder. This results in a strong cover plate assembly with an ordinary temperature rating, and an intermediate temperature sprinkler which can be installed in 150°F (66°C) environments. When the ceiling temperature rises, the solder holding the cover plate to the skirt melts, the flat cover plate released thus exposing the sprinkler inside to the rising ambient temperature. The subsequent fusing of the sprinkler element opens the waterway and causes the deflector to drop into position to distribute the discharging water. Any secure engagement of the threads between the cover plate and cup will assure that the drop–down deflector is properly located below the ceiling when a sprinkler operates.

  • Recessed Automatic Sprinkler

Today’s modern buildings demand that a sprinkler not only provide the best fire protection but also achieve an attractive appearance. Reliable’s Model G Recessed Sprinkler meets both criteria. It combines the fire fighting capability of a proven sprinkler with the smallest practicable recessing unit. Its small profile does not disrupt the overhead aesthetics, and yet one vertical glance upward gives a visual assurance of the finest in fire protection, an automatic sprinkler system. The Model G Recessed Sprinkler’s threaded two-piece construction makes initial field installation a very easy task. It allows ceilings panels to be removed without shutting down the fire protection thus facilitating maintenance of above ceiling services. The adjustable one inch NPT inlet versions have one and one half inches of adjustment which eliminates both the normally required reducing coupling and the need to accurately cut drop nipples. This sprinkler can be adjusted after the ceiling is in place and even while the system is pressurized eliminating the final corrections to pipe hangers or ceilings that might otherwise be required. The Reliable Model G Automatic Sprinkler is the heart of the Recessed Sprinkler. This sprinkler utilizes the center strut solder in compression principle of construction. The fusible alloy, captured in the cylinder of a small solder capsule by a stainless steel ball, acts as the trigger of the sprinkler. When the fusible alloy melts, the sprinkler operating parts spring free from the sprinkler clearing the waterway and allowing the deflector to distribute the discharging water.

  • Recessed Automatic Sprinkler

Attractively versatile is the description for the Reliable Model G/F1 Recessed Automatic Sprinkler. The Model G/F1 Recessed Sprinkler facilitates a rapid and perfect installation. When this sprinkler is used in place of any standard pendent sprinkler a more attractive and easier installation is the result. The Model G/F1 Recessed escutcheon is highly adjustable. The two piece construction makes field installation a very easy and rapid task. The escutcheon collar threads onto the sprinkler inlet end and the sprinkler and collar are easily installed into the drop nipple using the Model RC1 Sprinkler Wrench. The escutcheon sleeve is then simply pushed onto the collar after the ceiling panels are installed. This also allows the ceiling panels to later be removed without shutting down the sprinkler system protection, thus facilitating maintenance of above ceiling services.

Energy Efficient Appliances

Energy Star rated appliances are highly recommended – a new refrigerator, for example, uses 40% less energy than a model produced before 1993 Energy Efficient Lighting

White-light LED lighting products, with proper design and use, can last at least 25 000 hours (or 22 years based on average household use). This is over 2.5 times longer than compact fluorescent light bulbs, offer better performance in cold temperatures, are unaffected by turning them on and off frequently, do not require any warm-up time (instant on) and do not contain mercury or lead

Energy Recovery Devices

Devices such as the WaterCycle can be incorporated, which transfers energy from warm waste water to incoming cold water, which in turn supplies the hot water heater. This device consumes no energy, reduces carbon emissions, has no moving parts and is maintenance free.

Programmable Thermostats

A great and inexpensive way to lower home heating bill is to install a programmable setback thermostat to automatically raise and lower the temperature based on your routine

Save up to 3%-4% on your heating costs by turning your thermostat down 3°C for at least eight hours every day
